I am not big on pills either. I am a "stubborn kraut!" I want everything natural and like to tough things out. I even fought with my doctor when he recommended the Vioxx, and only accepted the prescription begrudgingly. I am STILL not into pills, but I may just stay on this for the months he recommends. I have re-thunk (my word!) my position on this. See my post further down under "what does vioxx do?" for my thoughts on how this pill can actually aid in the healing process. It is no guarantee, but a temporary stay in the inflammatory process would probably be good to give the body a chance to heal.Ibuprofen cream instead of pills because of the stomach irritation high doses of pills can cause. This is the only place in the U.S. I've found that sells it.
